Do I need an account?
No. The map, list, spot detail pages, and the Sky tab all work without signing in. An account is only required to save favorite spots and to receive meteor-shower or new-moon reminders.
Why aren’t my reminders arriving?
Reminders are sent only when (a) you’ve enabled the relevant toggle in Profile → Notifications, (b) you’ve granted notification permission to the app, and (c) the astronomical event falls on that date. New-moon reminders fire only on actual new-moon nights; meteor-shower reminders fire only around the peak.
The moon and twilight times look wrong.
Times on the Sky tab are computed for your current location (if you’ve granted location permission) or for the centre of the Canary Islands as a fallback. On a Spot Detail page, times are computed for the spot’s own coordinates. Make sure your device’s time zone is correct.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Profile, tap the edit icon next to your name, and choose “Delete Account.” This permanently removes your account, saved spots, and notification preferences.
